Julie Kolodziej, director and founder of Magnolia Speech & Wellness, is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist, registered with CASLPO. Having completed her undergraduate degree in Speech and Language Sciences at Brock University, Julie then went on to receive a scholarship to complete her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Central Michigan University. Julie spent a number of years working in various hospital and rehabilitation centres across Ontario and Michigan, working with adults who experienced speech, language and swallowing difficulties. She also has experience working with pediatric and school aged children and adults in a private practice and home care settings, as well as children in the school setting.
Julie provides assessments and treatment in the areas of articulation, language, oral motor, voice and swallowing disorders. She has training in Communication Intermediary Services.
Along with her passion for speech therapy, Julie enjoys playing and watching baseball, volleyball, dancing, yoga, and staying active indoors and out. Julie is a mommy to 3 amazing kiddos (who are all under the age of 4) and absolutely loves spending time with her beautiful little family and friends. There is absolutely nothing more wonderful or relaxing than spending time outside with family, enjoying the stunning Muskoka scenery and weather.
